General Policies

Arrival

Check-in hours are from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Special arrangements must be made in advance for early or late arrivals.

Departure

Check-out is 11:00am. Late check-out is at the discretion of the innkeeper and must be arranged in advance.

Children

The Blue Horse Inn seeks to provide a serene and relaxing retreat for adult guests. For the comfort of all of our guests, we ask guests to kindly abide by our minimum age limit of 18.

Pets

We have several pet-friendly rooms. Guests and their pets must abide by the pet policy.

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to reserve a room. The balance is due upon arrival.

Cancellation

Deposits on cancellations will be refunded with a minimum of 15 days notice prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Group reservations (4 or more rooms) must provide a minimum of 30 days notice. Guests giving no notice of their intentions to cancel will be charged the full amount of their reservation. Guests checking out earlier than the confirmed departure date will not receive a refund unless the room is re-booked.

Reservations

During peak seasons (Sept 23-Oct 17; Dec 23-Jan 2), a two-night minimum stay is required.

Rates

Room rates are for single or double occupancy and do not include the 9% Vermont state tax. Suites may accommodate up to two additional guests for $50 per person per night.

Environment

In order to maintain a clean and healthy environment, we do not allow outdoor shoes in the house. Feel free to bring your favorite slippers, or we will happily provide you with a complimentary pair. The Blue Horse Inn is a smoke-free environment. A $200 cleaning fee will be assessed for smoking in rooms.
